Founded in 1872, we are Victoria’s oldest and only specialised criminal justice reintegration service. We provide reintegration, family, and employment support that enables people to create new beginnings for themselves and their families.

About the Role

The ReLink Program is a component of the Corrections Victoria Reintegration Pathway (CVRP) and is provided to individuals before they are released from prison. It is designed to help them prepare for their transition into the community.

This is a Part-time (0.8FTE) role involves assisting clients with diverse and complex needs as they near their release from prison and is based on site at the Loddon/Middleton prison precinct. You will be organising and leading a small group and individual sessions to support participants’ reintegration and our success in this role will depend on your ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships while recording data in a timely manner.

The role of a ReLink Reintegration Coordinator will require the following skills and experience:

  • Experience working with complex clients, particularly those with involvement in the criminal justice system.
  • Experience supporting clients/participants with conditions like addiction, homelessness, mental health disorders, ABI, and AOD.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to establish trusting working connections with stakeholders, clients, and coworkers.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to assess and respond to complex client needs.
  • Sound level of MS Office, database, and internet skills.
